President Kevin Flockton

As a member of the Krewe for more than 12 years and a board member for the past 6, I am well aware of the amount of hard work that is involved to keep this organization strong and running smoothly. As your new President, I am committed to making The Original; Krewe of Orpheus better than ever. I would like to commend my predecessors Roger Farris and Brent Silva for all their outstanding work and commitment to this organization and wish to thanks them in advance for the help they will give me in the months to come!

As Members of Orpheus, each and every one of us must do our part to maintain, improve and continue to grow our organization. One way to do our part is to support and attend all our annual events- such as the Royal Revelation and the Coronation Celebration. Also, when you talk to your friends, neighbors and co-workers remember to promote the Krewe. Let them know how much fun this organization can be.

During my tenure as Float Chair, I am proud to say that there have been several "firsts" for the parade crowd that was lined down the streets of Mandeville. As most of you are aware, our Organization is now the proud owner of out floats, including our first Signature Float the 'Voodoo Krewe'-Special thanks to Lex Cairns and the Lowe Brothers! As I turn the duty of Float Committee Chairman over to King Otto, current plans are in the works to bring something new and exciting and a "first" to not only the North Shore, but also a "first" in all of Mardi Gras! But I can't say anymore! You'll have to wait to see it Parade Day!
